Recipe: Cherry Pineapple Salad *********************************************************** 1-package (6 serving size) cherry flavored gelatin, 2-cups boiling water, 2-(14.5 oz) cans tart cherries in water, 1-( 20 oz) can crushed pineapple in juice, 1-(8oz) packeage cream cheese, softened, 1-cup sour cream, 1/4-cup gradulated sugar, 1/2-cup chopped pecans or other nuts, *********************************************************** Combine gelatin and boiling water in large bowl, stirring untio gelatin is completely dissolved. Stir in cherries with liquid from can and pineapple with juice. Pour misture into a 13 by 9 pan. Refrigerate 2 to 3 hours or until firm. Combine cream cheese, sour cream and sugar, mix until well blended. Carefully spread over top of gelatin. Sprinkle with nuts just before servings. Refrigerate left overs. Make 26 servings.
