Sopapillia Cheesecake

Recipe: 3 8oz Cream Cheese (softened) 1 1/2 C Sugar 1 1/2 tsp Vanilla 2 cans of Crescent Rolls 2 T Cinnamon 1 Stick Butter or Margarine Heat oven to 350 degrees Layer Bottom of 9 x 13 pan with 1 can Crescent rolls (I try to pinch edges together) Mix softened cream cheese with 1 cup sugar and vanilla Spread Cream cheese mixture on top of Crescent rolls Layer other can of Crescent rolls on top of mixture Melt butter in microwave and pour on top of Crescent rolls (they will look drenched) Mix remaining 1/2 Cup sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle on top of melted butter Cook for 35-40 minutes Wonderful hot or cold! Note: I have tried this recipe using Fat Free cream cheese, splenda and reduced fat crescent rolls. Still tastes yummy! To make even healthier, top with powder sugar when removed from oven (instead of using melted butter). Enjoy!
