Dad's Fav Potatoes Name: Amy Harris Base: Hill AFB, UT Recipe: Preheat Oven 350' Ingredients: 5 lb bag Potatoes 1 medium Yellow Onion chopped 1 lb Mild cheddar (grated) 2 lbs Bacon (Maple & Hickory) garlic salt season salt pepper olive oil large cookie sheet aluminum foil You need to place aluminum foil over cookie sheet and put some olive oil so the potatoes don't stick Start by peeling & dicing your potatoes In seperate pan you need to cook you bacon and save the grease.. Now place you potatoes on the cookie sheet and crumble bacon over the top.Season with garlic sale, s. salt and pepper to your taste...Pour the bacon grease over the top. Now add the chopped onions...Now cover with foil and cook for about 45 mins until tender...Then take out of the oven and place the cheddar over the top cover back with foil till melted.. Now you have a wnderful dish that everyone will love..
