1 lb raw peeled deveined shrimp
1/2 Cup salted butter
1/4 to 1/2 cup dry white wine
3 to 4 tsp garlic paste (works better with paste)
garlic powder and black pepper to taste
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
Mix butter, wine and garlic paste in a microwavable bowl. Microwave for about 30 - 60 seconds until butter is melted and ingredients can be easily mixed. Place raw, peeled de-veined shrimp in baking dish in a single layer. Sprinkle with garlic powder and black pepper to taste. Carefully pour butter mixture over the shrimp so as not to remove too much of the garlic powder/black pepper. Shrimp should be sitting at least half way in the butter mixture. Bake at 350 for about 7 - 9 minutes on center over rack. Shrimp will be pink when done. DO NOT OVERCOOK! (I usually broil them on top for the last 2 minutes but not too close to the broiler itself, but it is not necessary.) Take them out and enjoy. |
