Eldorado Casserole w/Jalepenos - Spicy Dish

Recipe: ELDORADO CASSEROLE 1 Large Bag of Doritos 2 Pounds Ground Beef 1 Medium Onion – Finely Chopped 2 Small Cans Tomato Sauce Garlic Salt (to taste) Salt and Pepper (to taste) 1 Cup Cottage Cheese 1 Cup Sour Cream 3 Cups Colby & Jack Cheese (Grated or Shredded) 2 or 3 Jalepeno’s (finely chopped) Crumble Doritos in bottom of 9 X 13 pyrex dish. Depending on the size bag you get….form a good thick layer of Doritos. Brown the meat and onion together. DO NOT DRAIN THE GREASE. (The grease softens the Doritos. Otherwise they are just loose chips in the bottom of your dish). Add the salt, pepper and garlic salt, seasoning to taste. Add the tomato sauce and mix well. Pour the meat mixture over the Doritos. Mix together the sour cream, cottage cheese and jalepeno’s. Pour this mixture over the meat and spread to edges of meat. Top completely with the cheese. Cover with foil. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil immediately after taking out of the oven or the cheese will all stick to the foil. I hope your family enjoys this meal as much as we do! Lorri Johnson
