Stuffed Green Bell Peppers

Recipe: 3 Large Green Bell Peppers 1 Box Beef or Spanish Rice-A-Roni (6.8 oz) 1 Large Egg 1 Pound hamburger meat 2 Cans tomato sauce (15 oz) * Cut green peppers in half lengthwise; wash, remove stems & seeds * Mix together the Rice-A-Roni & package of seasonings, ground beef, egg and 8 oz (1 cup) of tomato sauce. Place mixture evenly in pepper halves. * In large skillet, place peppers meat side down. Pour remaining tomato sauce over peppers and 1 1/2 cups water. Bring to boil; reduce heat to medium, cover and simmer 35 minutes or until meat is cooked and rice is tender.
