Traditional Chili Verde

Recipe: 6-10 Jalapeno's skinned-diced 4-6 Anaheim Peppers (green Chili's) skinned-diced 3-4 boneless pork steaks cut into small cubes 1 large onion chopped 4-6 Tbs. flour 2 14oz. cans of chicken broth 2 whole garlic cloves minced 1/2 tsp. Oregano 1/2 tsp. ground cumin 1/2 Tbs. Chili powder salt and pepper to taste Brown pork in deep skillet with a small amount of shortening. Add flour and brown, pour in broth to make a gravy. Add additional ingredients and simmer for 1 hour. Great for smothered burrito's or Verde enchilada's. Sounds really hot, but its just right if you are a southern'r.
