Homemade Cream of Broccoli Soup.

Recipe: 1 & 1/2 cups of water. 3 cups of chopped broccoli. 2 teaspoons of EVOO*Extra Virgin Olive Oil. 1 cup of onion chopped. 1 tablespoon of garlic chopped. 3 cups of flour. 1 tablespoon of skim milk. 1/2 teaspoon of celery seeds. 1 teaspoon of seasalt. 1/8 teaspoon of cracked black pepper. 1/8 teaspoon of cayenne pepper. grated parmesan cheese. Combine water and broccoli boil over medium heat for 10 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside. In large skillet heat oil and saute onion and garlic until translucent about 5 minutes. Add flour to skillet stirring constantly to mix. Add liquid from broccoli and cook until thickened about 10 minutes. Add milk, broccoli and spices and stir well. Cook until hot *do not allow milk to boil. Top each serving with 1 tablespoon of parmesan cheese. Serves 6.
