Recipe: Chocolate Maraschino Cheesecake Pie *********************************************************** Ingredients 1-jar (10 oz.) maraschino cherries, divided, 1-package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened, 1/3-cup sugar, 1/2-teaspoon vanilla, 1-egg, 1/2-cup miniature semi-sweet chocolate morsels, divided, 1-Chocolate Grahm Cracker Crust, 1 1/2-cups frozen non-dairy whipped topping, thawed, *********************************************************** Directions: Drain cherries, reserving 1 tablespoon juice. Halve cherries. Set aside. In small mixing bowl beat cream cheese on medium speed of electric mixer until fluffy. Add sugar, vanilla and reserved cherry juice, mixing until combined. Add egg, beating until just combined. Reserve sixteen maraschino cherry halves. Fold remaining cherries and 1/3 cup of chocolate morsels into cream cheese mixture. Place crust on baking sheet. Spread cream cheese mixture in crust. Bake on baking sheet at 350°F about 35 minutes or until center is almost set. Cool on wire rack for 1 hour. Refrigerate at least 3 hours. Spread with whipped topping. Garnish with remaining chocolate morsels and reserved cherry halves. 8 servings
