Recipe: |
1 cup of all-purpose flour.
1/8 teaspoon of seasalt.
1/8 teaspoon of ground black pepper.
6 to 8 beef cube steaks.
1 teaspoon of butter OR 'I Can't Believe it's Not Butter.'
2 (10 3/4oz.)cans cream of mushroom soup.
2 1/2 cups of cold water.
Fresh sliced mushrooms.
Mix flour, salt and pepper in a shallow bowl.
Dredge meat in flour mixture.
Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat add meat brown on both sides.
Arrange meat in a lightly greased 13"x9" baking pan set aside.
Combine soup, water and mushrooms in a bowl.
Pour soup mixture over meat cover with aluminum foil.
Bake at 325F for 45 to 50 minutes.
Uncover bake an additional 15 minutes.
Serves 6 to 8.
