Cinnamon Apple Chips.

Name: TERRI DISHMAN
Base: McGUIRE AFB, NJ.
Recipe: 2 cups of apple juice. 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon. 2 apples*(any kind of apple will do.) Cut top and bottom off & core out all seeds of both apples cut into 1/8-inch rings. Combine apple juice and cinnamon in a saucepan. Bring to boil. Add apples and cook for about five minutes or until apples become opaque. Remove apples with a slotted spoon and pat dry with paper towels. Arrange the apples on racks (ones used to cool a cake or a roasting pan with a rack)making sure apples do not touch each other. Bake at 250F for 35 to 40 minutes or until lightly browned and dry. Remove from oven and cool completely. Store in an airtight container.
