1 cup oysters
2 cups milk
4 tablespoons butter or margarine
1/4 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
salt
pepper
Drain liquid from oysters into the upper part of a double boiler
and reduce, by boiling over direct heat, to about 1/2 cup. Add
the milk and place over hot water. When hot, add oysters,
butter, and Worcestershire sauce; season with salt and pepper to
suit your taste and heat together to blend the flavor.
Makes 4 servings.
