Cookie Cake Name: Jamie Johnson Base: Fort Polk, LA Recipe: Mix one regualr cake mix (either chocolate, white or yellow) according to directions and set aside. Then mix one batch of Chocolate Chip cookie mix and set aside. Then oil a 9x13 cake pan, pour cookie dough in and press into pan evenly. Pour cake mix over cookie dough, smooth and bake at about 275-300 (depneding on your oven), the lower temp will help the cake mix bake but not let the dough bake to quickly. Leave in pan and cool, once cool spead your choice of frosting over top. Decorate with Chocolate chip cookie peices or your choice of decorations. Serve it up, they will love it. May also use refridgerated cookie dough as well, both work great. My son does not care of cake but loves chocolate ship cookies, so I came up with this for his birthdays and he will eat this and loves it.
