1 lb fish fillets such as haddock about a half an inch thick
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 cup bisquick mix
1/4 cup bread crumbs
dried basil leaves
1/4 tsp salt
1 egg
If needed cut fish into 4 serving pieces. In skillet heat oil over medium heat. in dish mix bisquick, bread crumbs and basil and salt. in another dish beat egg. dip fish in egg. then coat with bisquick mixture. Reduce heat to medium low cook fish in oil 8-10 minutes turning once, until fish flakes easily with fork and is brown on both sides. Enjoy! |
