My yummy spaghetti (very easy to make)

Recipe: This is a great spaghetti sauce. It seems strange with the veggies but you can even taste them and they add so much! (1) 6lbs 6oz can All Purpose crushed tomatoes (huge can) (1) 48 oz pack ground beef (1) small bell pepper (1) small onion (2-3) carrots (3) cloves fresh garlic (3)bay leaves (1.5) tablespoons italian seasoning (.5) teaspoon black pepper (2) shakes of basil (.5) teaspoon salt (1) teaspoon sugar * Brown the ground beef and the drain and rinse in hot water. * Place canned tomato, and ground beef in a BIG pot. *Add the spices to the pot and stir. * Chop all veggies, (if your family is like mine a tends to hate anything with veggies then blend up the veggies until pureed) add to the pot and mix. *Bring to a boil and then lower and simmer for 30 minutes. This makes alot of speghetti sauce which can be frozen and it will stay good in a regular freezer for about 2 months and about 6 months in a deep freezer. You can also make lasagna out of this sauce and it will be extra good. Look for ("Kellys' best lasagna") in the recipe section. Depending on where you live and what your family considers a serving this will cost you about 25-30 cents a serving. Buying the bulk cans saves you lots of money as does buying your ground beef in bulk. This cost me $7.21 to make and it will make at least 20 servings for us. HAPPY COOKING:)
