1 TBS. Vegetable oil
6 boneless pork chops
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 cups milk
5 potatoes, thinly sliced
1 pkg. lipton onion soup mix
1 cup shredded chedder cheese
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Place the pork chops in the oil, and sear. In medium bowl, combine mushroom soup, milk and onion soup mix, stir till blended. Arrange the potatoes in a 9x13 baking dish. Place browned pork chops over the potatoes, then pour the soup mixture over all.
Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes in preheated oven. Top with the cheese, uncover and back an addional 30 minutes. (Time may be reduced if using thin cut pork chops). |
