Recipe: |
Take a lb. of Split peas (sort through to pick out any rocks[it happens]) and rinse them. Put them in a large pot filled 3/4 with water. Add a Basil Leaf, and as desired, onion powder, garlic salt, Italian seasonings and a dash of Oregno. Bring to a boil. Then reduce heat and let sit a few hours, adding water as needed and stirring every 15/25 minutes to keep from sticking. Serve with crackers. Enjoy. |
