2- CUPS MINIATURE MARSHMALLOWS,

1/2-CUP BUTTER, MELTED AND COOLED,
1/4-CUP COCOA,
3-TABLESPOON MILK,
1-TEASPOON VANILLA,
2-CUPS CONFECTIONERS SUGAR,
1/4-CUP PECANS,

HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. GREASE BOTTOM ONLY OF 13' BY 9" PAN. IN LARGE BOWL, COMBINE BROWNIE MIX, OIL, WATER AND EGG; BEAT 50 STROKES WITH SPOON. STIR IN 1 CUP PECANS. SPREAD BATTER IN GREASED PAN. BAKE AT 350 DEGREES FOR 27 TO 30 MINUTES. DO NOT OVERBAKE. SPRINKLE WARM BROWNIES WITH MARSHMALLOWS; RETURN TO OVEN FOR 2 TO 3 MINUTES OR UNTIL MARSHMALLOWS ARE SOFT AND PUFFED. REMOVE FROM OVEN AND COOL. COMBINE BUTTER AND COCOA IN MIXING BOWL; ADD MILK AND VANILLA. GRADUALLY STIR IN SUGAR; BEAT WITH ELECTRIC MIXER UNTIL SMOOTH. STIR IN REMAINING 1/4 CUP PECANS. SPREAD OVER MARSHMALLOWS. CHILL BEFORE CUTTING INTO SQUARES. |
