Ingredients:
1 large can peaches in heavy syrup (save all the juice for later)
1 box yellow cake mix
1 stick of butter
8x8 pan greased
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Empty peaches (not the juice) into the 8X8 pan.
Empty cake mix over the peaches being sure it covers the pan of peaches evenly.
Put pats of butter over the cake mix and use half of the reserved peach juice and bake for 15 minutes.
Pour the rest of the juice over the dry areas only and bake another 10 minutes. Check and see if there are dry spots, if yes, cover them with pats of butter and then continue baking until golden brown. |
