minty orange juice Name: yvonne siddall Base: fort drum Recipe: sometimes i use peppermint candies and and other times i use altiods mints. usually use the candy canes during christmas times. i like it really minty so you might want to use less than i do. i would pour about half a cup from a 1/2 gallon of orange juice into a pan. put 4 altoids, or 6 peppermints and cook until disolved. then add a cup of cold juice to it to temper it. then pour the juice from the pan back into the original juice box or jug and shake it a little. when usint the peppermint candies and candy canes i use a juice that is less sweet because the candies will make it sweet. cool and then serve.
