Recipe: |
1 lb. pork (lean, cubed in 1 inch pieces)
1 c. seasoned bread crumbs
1 egg
1/4-1/3 c. milk
6 short wooden skewers
oil for frying
Mix egg and milk together. Set aside. Arrange meat on sticks. Dip in egg mixture then roll in bread crumbs. Brown meat in oil until golden brown. Put meat in a Pyrex or any oven dish, cover and then Place in 350 degree oven 15 or 20 mins. until done. I usually cook pork about 45 mins. to an hour depending on the cut of the pork. For softer meat that melts in your mouth, after meat is done, turn off the oven and let the meat set in the oven for 1/2 hour.
