Delicious Tomato Lasagna

Recipe: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a large 9x13 pan or large casserole dish. Ingredients: 1 28oz jar tomato pasta sauce 1 Package Regular Lasagna Noodles (Uncooked) 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese 2 cups ricotta cheese 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese 1/2 tsp dried oregano 1 tsp dried parsley 1/4 cup diced onions 1/4 cup diced green bell pepper (optional) 1-3 clove(s) garlic, pressed 1 pound ground beef 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp ground black pepper Cook ground beef, onion, bell pepper, garlic, salt and pepper. Drain. Mix together ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, oregano and parsley. Spread a thin layer of pasta sauce on the bottom of the pan. Cover with a layer of lasagna noodles. Spread a thin layer of sauce, then layer cheese mixture. Cover with pasta sauce. Layer noodles, sauce, ground beef mixture, sauce, then noodles. Spread a thin layer of sauce, then mozzarella cheese, then sauce, then noodles, then sauce. Cover top with a thin sprinkle of additional parmesan cheese if desired. Bake 60-70 minutes until hot and bubbly. Do not undercook. Serves 8.
