Ever run out of store bought garlic bread or forget to pick it up? This stuff is the best substitution when your desperate and costs sooooooooo much less. I like it better than the store bought stuff.
Ingredients:
8 slices of white bread or a loaf of french bread
Tub butter
3 cloves garlic, minced or crushed
parmesan cheese (like the kind for spaghetti)
dry or fresh parsley
dried oregano
paprika
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Rub entire outside of loaf of french bread or each slice of white bread with a clove of garlic sliced lengthwise. Spread 1 side of each piece of white bread or each half of french bread loaf with tub butter. Sprinkle each slice or french bread loaf half with minced/crushed garlic, parmesan cheese, parsley, oregano and paprika. Bake white bread slices 4 minutes or until light golden brown, french bread halves about 8 minutes or until golden brown. Enjoy! This always gets raves in my household! |
