2 c. Bisquick 1 t. baking soda
1 c. oil 1-1/2 t. baking powder
1 c. sugar 1 t. cinnamon
1 c. nuts (walnuts or pecans) 1/2 t. nutmeg
1 c. milk 1 t. cloves
4 eggs 1 t. orange flavor
Stir all ingredients until blended forming a very thin batter. Make sure the nuts are finely chopped. Pour into a 9 x 13 in. oiled pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.
Syrup: 1 c. sugar, 1 c. water, 1 t. orange flavor
Combine; allolw to boil a few minutes. Pour over baked cake.
Variation: Substitute icing or sprinkle powdered sugar instead of syrup. |
