HERE'S 2 RECIPES I FOUND FOR ALL THE DOG LOVERS AROUND. THEY ARE EASY AND NOT EXPENSIVE TO MAKE. MAKE YOUR LOVED PET FELL LIKE THE KINGS OF THE ROAST. LOL
TOBY'S DOGGIE COOKIES
3 (2 1/2 ounce) jars beef baby food or chicken baby food,
1/4 cup powdered milk,
1/4 cup wheat germ or cream of wheat,
Combine ingredients in a bowl and mix well.
Roll into small balls and place on well-greased cookie sheet.
Flatten slightly with a fork.
Bake in preheated 350 F oven for 15 minutes or until brown.
Cool on wire racks and STORE IN REFRIGERATOR -- also freezes well.
CANNINE TREATS:
3/4 cup wheat germ,
3/4 cup powdered milk,
1 large egg,
1 (4 ounce) jar beef baby food,
2 ounces water,
Mix all ingredients well and drop of a sprayed cookie sheet.
The cookies should be about the size of a quarter.
Bake for 20 minutes at 350*.
cool and then refrigerate.
This will make a nice crunchy texture.
for the water amount just use empty baby food jar for measuring (about 1/2 jar). |
