Recipe: 1-to 1&1/2 pounds ground beef, browned and drained, 1- can tomato paste, small can, 2-8oz. can tomato sauce 1- 32 ounce can tomato juice, 3- cans 15-1/2 ounce cans chili beans, 1/2 cup chopped onion 2 packages mccormick or other chili seasoning mix, chili powder, garlic powder, mrs. dash italian seasoning, mrs. dash tomato basil seasoning, mrs. dash extra spice seasoning, pepper, brown ground beef, mix tomato paste, juice, sauce, onion and seasonings together, add the seasoning to your taste i use more, some may want to use less and stir till paste is blended. add this to beef and add chili beans. simmer till thicken and well heated. this makes a 4 quart pot. my husband likes his with rice, but i eat it with crackers, pasta will do good too, spagetti or elbow mac. this is the seasonings i use but season the way you like. you can also cook your onions with the meat if you pan brown the meat but i boil it to remove most of the fat or all i can get out.
