This is a great alternative and easier to make than lasagna! be creative with it
2 packages of large round cheese raviolis
1 package of shredded mozarella
1 jar of your favorite spaghetti sauce
optional.. chicken cut into chunks, groundmeat or veggies
optional..for extra cheesy.. 1 pckg. whole mozarrella
directions
1. first cook ravioli according to package directions
2. if adding chicken, meat or veggies cook ahead of time as well
3.add sauce to the bottom of a pyrex baking dish
4. make a layer of raviolis to cover the bottom
5. add chicken, beef, veggies if using
6. slice whole mozarela and make a layer of that
6. sprinkle a layer of mozarella cheese
7. cover with spaghetti sauce
8. repeat one layer
cook on 375 degrees till you see all the cheese is melted
goes great with a nice ceasar salad!
i also love to add curry powder to the chicken..gives it a nice flavoring! this dish has been a hit everytime ive made it for family or coworkers! |
