1-1/2 lbs. ground beef, browned and drained
1- 16oz jar salsa
2 boxes jiffy or corn bread mix, mix as package directs
16 oz. package shreaded mexican cheese blend
brown ground beef, rinse and drain. add salsa to ground beef, set aside. mix one box or package corn bread mix as package directs. pour and spread into 9 by 13 pan, sprayed with non stick spray. top with ground beef mixture. spread cheese over top of ground beef. mix and spread other package of corn bread mix over top of cheese. bake at 350 for 30 to 35 minutes or until cornbread is brown. top with more salsa, cheese or taco sauce to your own taste. sour cream is good too. |
