SPICED PECANS
(great at Christmas time!!)
1 (16 oz) bag pecan halves
2 egg whites
2 tsp COLD water
1 C sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp all spice
1 tsp cinnamon
Blend egg whites and water on low until frothy, not stiff. Add pecans and mix well. In separate bowl, mix dry ingredients. Pour dry ingredients into the pecan mixture and mix well.
Bake at 225 for one hour on a foil-lined baking sheet. Stir every 15 minutes. Cool before storing in airtight container. |
