Pasta in Tomato Cream Sauce

Recipe: 8 oz penne or other tube pasta 3/4 c whipping cream 1 can (41.5 oz) diced tomatoes with garlic & onion 1/2 c fresh chopped basil OR 1 tsp dried basil 1/3 c grated parmesean Cook pasta as per directions on package. Drain & keep warm. In a skillet, cook tomatoes over med-hi heat until thickened, about 5 min. Reduce heat, add basil & cream. Heat through. DO NOT LET MIXTURE BOIL! Toss tomato sauce with pasta & cheese. Serve immediately.
