Sour Cream Pound Cake

Recipe: 1/2 lb (2 sticks) butter 3 c all-purpose flour 3 c sugar 1 c sour cream 1/2 tsp baking soda 6 large eggs 1 tsp vanilla Preheat oven to 325. In a large mixing bowl combine butter & sugar. Cream together. Add sour cream, mix until incorporated. In another bowl, sift together baking soda and flour. Add dry mixture to the creamed mixture, alternating with eggs, beating in each eggs ONE AT A TIME. Add the vanilla. Pour mixture into a greased & floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake for 1 hr & 20 min. Cake should yield 8-10 servings.
