1 (8 OZ.) JAR APPLESAUCE
1 TSP. SALT
1/2 TSP.GROUND GINGER
1/4TSP.GROUND NUT MEG
1CUP HEAVY CREAM
*FRESH GROUND PEPPER TO TAST
*CROUTONS(OPTIONAL)
hEAT BUTTER IN LARGE SACUSE PAN& SAUTE THE ONIONS OVER MEDIUM HEAT FOR ABOUT 3-4 MINS. UNTIL SOFTENEND. sPRINKEL FLOUR OVER THE ONIONS AND STIR UNTIL MIXED.Add the chicken broth and pumpkin stir till smooth.
add all other ingredenit (EXCEPT) THE CREAM,PEPPER AND CROUTONS! Stir well,cover/simmer gently for about 20mins until hot and the flavors have blened
stir in cream and heat until hot.
granish with fresh ground pepper and serve immeditatley w/ croutons (serves 6) |
