1/2 lb. ground turkey, 1 cup chopped onion, 2 teaspoons vegetable oil, 1 can sloppy joe sauce, 8 hot dogs, 8 split hot dog buns, 1/2 cup shredded Mexican cheese blend
In a large skillet, cook turkey and onion in oil over medium heat for 5-6 minutes or until meat is no longer pink; drain. Stir in sloppy joe sauce. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered for 5-6 minutes or until heated through, stirring occassionally. Meanwhile, cook hot dogs. Place in buns; top with sloppy joe mixtures. Sprinkle with cheese. |
