Recipe: Ingredients: 2 large cans of vegetarian baked beans 1 pound of ground turkey 5 slices of cooked bacon crispy Recipe: 1) Sautee ground turkey in a skillet( no need to add oil or cooking spray) Season with garlic, salt, pepper may add diced onion if desired. 2) Cook bacon until very crisp, crumble and set aside 3) in a casserole dish add the 2 cans of beans and mix with the ground turkey and desired seasoning Bake at 375 degrees for 30 mins take out of oven and sprinkle the bacon on top ****Low in fat, High in fiber and protien, makes a hearty meal, I serve with a nice garden salad and a few tortilla chips****** costs about $5-6 to make and serves 8 people
