Ingredients:
4 tomatoes sliced, Half an onion diced, 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, 1 cup cheddar cheese, 1 cup mayonaise, 1 deep dish pie crust
Recipe: Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees
bake pie crust until slightly golden brown
sautee onion
In a bowl mix the mayonaise and cheeses, along with any of your favorite seasoning/spices
after pie crust has baked slightly layer half of the tomato slices in the pie crust, then layer the sauteed onions, add remaining tomato slices. spread the cheese and mayonaise mixture on top of the last layer of tomatoes and bake for 30 minutes.
******** I personally sprinkle garlic and other favorite spices inbetween the layers of tomatoes and I sautee the onion with minced garlic. For a low fat recipe I use fat free mayonaise and cheeses. Also you may add some cooked bacon crumbled or diced ham inbetween the layers also******
