1 1/2 pounds beef pieces 1 1/2 in cubes
1 tablespoon vegtable oil
1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
13 3/4 oz beef broth
1/2 cup Burgundy Wine
3 cloves of garlic crushed
1 1/2 cups baby carrots
1 cup pearl onions
2 tablesppons corn starch in 2 tablespoons water
8 oz frozen sugar peas
1 1/2 cups cubed potatoe
1. heat oil, add 1/2 beef and brown. pour off drippings. Add seasoning Stir in broth, wine and garlic. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low. cover tightly and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
2. Add vegtables, cover and cook 35-40 minutes
3. Stir in corn starch. Bring to a boil; cook 1 minute, add sugar peas. Reduce heat to minimum, cook 3-4 minutes |
