1/2 or 1 lb. shrimp (anytype)
1 pkg. smoked sausage
3 pieces of chicken (breast preferably)
1 stalk celery
1 onion
1 box gumbo mix
6 cups water
First, put 6 cups of water in the large pot and boil chicken for about 5 minutes on high heat, then add smoked sausage, celery, onion, and 1 box of gumbo mix while letting it boil for another 10 minutes, insuring that you stir every 3 minutes; then, add the package of shrimp and let boil for another 5 minutes. Place heat onto low heat after 5 minutes, then get ready to serve and enjoy.
Ready Items that you need before cooking: 1 large pot, cut celery, onion, and sausage into square pieces. |
