Recipe: 1 lb. ground meat or poultry 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 pkg frozen vegetable mix (corn, carrots, peas) 1 1/2 tsp salt 1/4 tsp pepper Lumpia or spring roll wrappers (square) Salad oil for frying In a large saucepan, brown meat with garlic and onion. Add vegetables and seasonings; cook for 2 minutes. Drain and cool. To make lumpia, place 2 Tbsp of filin on a wrapper. Forl neares edge of wrapper over filling; fold left and right sides toward center. roll lightly toward open edge. Seal with water. Heat oil to 375 degrees F. Fry lumpia until golden brown. Serve with sweet and sour sauce or sweet chile sauce.
