Tip-Make sure all ingredients are at room temperature.
Ingredients:
(Makes 1.5 lb. loaf)
1 cup water
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp. margarine or butter
3 cups bread flour
1/2 cup oats (any kind)
2 Tbsp. powdered milk
1 1/4 tsp. salt
1 3/4 tsp. fast rising yeast(Red Star works well for me)
Add the first three ingredients to the bread pan. Add the next four ingredients, then make a hole with your finger in the middle of the dry ingredients and place the yeast in the hole. Select the settings on your machine-I have a Sunbeam 2 lb. Expressbake breadmaker, and I use the sweet setting with a light crust color. I make this bread about twice a week, and my whole family loves it!
