i got this from a friend, don't know what it's called, but it's good.
1 lb pasta (I use maccaroni)
1 can crushed tomatoes
1 can chick peas (drained)
italian seasoning
cheese topping of your choice
Boil the noodles and add the chick peas and tomatoes, season to taste. drain the pasta before adding chick peas and tomatoes. Top with cheese. My friend uses feta, But my kids won't eat that, so I use Parmesan. It's filling, fast and low-fat. If yur family insists on meat, grill or broil modest servings of chicken to put on the side.
