2 1/2 lbs Beef cut into 3/4" cubes
16 oz favorite salsa ( I use the hot)
8 oz tomatoe sauce
2Tbsp soy sauce
2Tbsp brown sugar
1Tbsp fresh lime juice
2Tbsp freshly chopped parsley
2 cloves of garlic minced
2 Tbsp cooking oil
In a large skillet brown beef in oil and drain. Add salsa, tomatoe sauce, garlic, and soy sauce. Stir, bring to boil. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 2 1/2 to 3 hours. Add lime juice and fresh parsley, heat through.
Serve over white rice.
The longer you cook the salsa beef the spicier it becomes. |
