3/4c Crisco
1 stick 5 1/2T Butter
1 1/2c sugar
1/2T Vanilla
1 egg (beaten)
3 1/2c Flour
3/4t Cream of Tartar
1t Baking Soda
dash salt
Sprinkle Mixture
1/2c sugar
1/2T cinnamon
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Cream together Crisco, butter and sugar. Mix in vanilla. Mix in already beaten egg. In a separate bowl combine flour, cream of tartar, soda, and salt. Roll into balls. Roll in sugar, then flatten with a cup.
Bake for 11 minutes.
Makes 5 1/2 dozen.
