Recipe: 1 French Bread Loaf (long and fat works best) 1 pkg cooked ham, chopped (1/2 cup) (4 slices of Black Forest Ham is excellent) 1 (8 oz) cream cheese 1 (8 oz) sour cream 1 (4oz) can green chilies, chopped 1/8 tsp Worcestershire sauce Onion/Garlic seasoning (optional) 2 c Mexican Cheese w/ Jalapenos, shredded 1 c Cheddar Cheese, shredded Hollow out French bread, making a well in the center. Chop up the bread into bite-size pieces. Place bread shell onto aluminum foil and place on baking pan. Mix ham, cream cheese, sour cream, green chilies, sauce, seasoning, and Mexican cheese blend. Spoon into well of French bread. Wrap filled bread with the foil. Cook for 1 hour at 350º. Open and sprinkle cheddar cheese on bread, close up and return to the oven to let the cheese form a top across the well, about 5-10 minutes. Serve immediately with the reserved bread pieces or Ritz crackers for scooping. Good for experimentation with other meats, cheeses, seasonings.
