Recipe: |
1 pound of hamburger meat cooked and drain (leave in pan after you drain)*
3 cans of Bush chili beans
1 large bottle of V-8 juice ( I use the spicy one)
1 package of chili seasoning mix
Cook hamburger and drain. Add the package of chili mix with 1 cup of water. Let that simmer until the water is gone. Add the chili beans and mix. Now add enough V-8 juice to make a sauce. I usually use about 3/4 of the bottle. Heat on low until ready to serve.
This makes the best chili. My husband and son have used it for years on Boy Scout camping trips.
*You can use chicken breast that are cooked and riped apart as well. |
