Recipe: 1 large onion coarsly chopped 2 large green peppers coarsly chopped 6 large tomatoes(or 10 romas)chopped 1.5 lbs browned hamburger 2.5 tablespoons chili powder (or to taste) 2 teaspoons cumin salt and pepper to taste 3 tablespoons of corn meal throw everything except cornmeal in a pot and simmer for 2-4 hours, you could also put half of a beer in there... I use a dark beer for the best flavor. about 10 minutes before you are gonna eat mix the cornmeal with 1/4 cup of water and add to the pot stirring constantly till thickened. serve over rice or with cornbread.
