1/2c. granulated sugar 3 eggs well beaten
1c. dark syrup 4 T. butter
1 tsp. vanilla 1 unbaked pie shell
1c. pecans
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Heat sugar and syrup in saucepan. Add butter and when melted, pour mixture over well beaten eggs. Add vanilla and nuts and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake in hot oven for 10 mins. Reduce 300 degrees and continue baking 35-40 mins. Serve cold |
