This recipe came from my husband's Grandmother, and has been passed down the family for generations. It tastes best when made with apples from our home town, Upstate New York!
1 Cup Sugar, 2/3 cup Oil, 1 Egg, 1 tsp. Vanilla, 1 1/2 cups Flour, 1 tsp. Salt, 1 tsp. Baking Soda, 1 tsp. Cinnamon, 2 cups finely cut Apples, nuts.
Mix all ingredients together. Bake in floured cake pan or 8x8 square glass baking dish at 350' for about an hour. |
