BUTTERSCOTCH PIE

Recipe: 1c. brown sugar 5 tbsp. flour 1/4 c. water 1 c. milk 2 egg yolks (save whites for meringue) dash of salt Mix altogether in a large kettle with a whisk and bring to a boil. will thicken as cooked. after start of thickening add a little butter and 1/2 tsp of vanilla. Once thick pour into pie crust. Made for a 9" crust.
