Recipe: 1 pound ground beef or turkey 1 1/2 cups chopped onion 1 tablespoon water 2 (15-ounce) cans chili with beans 1 (1.25-ounce) package taco seasoning 6 cups tortilla chips 1/2 cup (2 ounces) shredded sharp cheddar cheese 2 tablespoons chopped seeded jalapeņo pepper 1 1/2 cups bottled salsa Preheat oven to 350°. Cook the beef or turkey, onion, and water in a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat until browned, stirring to crumble. Add chili and taco seasoning; reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes or until heated thoroughly. Line a 13 x 9-inch baking pan with chips. Spoon turkey mixture over chips; top with cheese. Bake at 350° for 10 minutes or until cheese melts. Sprinkle with chopped jalapeņo, and cut into 6 wedges; serve with salsa.
