Cabbage & Noodles

Recipe: 1 Med. Head of Cabbage 6 to 8 oz. Wide Egg Noodles 1 lb Bacon 2 to 3 Tablespoons of Butter or Margerine 3 to 6 Cloves of Garlic Chopped Fine(Granulated may be used to taste) Salt and Pepper to taste Boil water for noodles and cook noodles for approximately 11 minutes. Drain when done cooking and place off to the side. While cooking noodles, chop the bacon into small pieces. Chop the Cabbage into 2 inch pieces. Fry off bacon And garlic cloves.(Do Not Drain Grease). Next toss noodles in with the bacon and bacon grease letting noodles slightly brown. Add Butter to pan. Let melt. Add Cabbage to frying pan mix with other ingredients. Cover and Mix occasionally until Cabbage is cooked. Season to taste. Sticking will occur and is okay as long as mixture is not allowed to burn. If using the stove I recommend just over medium heat. I use an electric skillet at 350 degrees. I find the space in an electric skillet allows for faster cooking times. This meal takes approximately 10 minutes prep time and 15 to 20 minutes cook time.
